It's been almost two weeks since I've written a word of fiction. So, today I wrote another scene in "Dance Macabre" and realized I'd left an important element out of the outline. I also thought up some more things I might like to put in the story to flesh out the character better and forshadow future stories I have in mind to write with him. I'm taking 18 hours of school this semester and working at UPS loading trucks to pay for it. That's my new standing excuse for when I go two weeks without writing a word of fiction. Fortunately, the new Erasure CD came out yesterday, and I've been listening to it, and those guys always motivate me. They're the only two of my personal muses that I've never formally met. Their music always makes me feel like writing stories.
