I'll start off with a quick update. Haikus #96-99 went up on May 31, followed by ten more being added to the release schedule. That same day, I launched my new blog Piece of Mind. On June 6, the release schedule was corrected, because I had no intention of publishing a haiku that week. Then, June 21 came and went, and I forgot that I had every intention of publishing a haiku then, thinking it wasn't to go up until the 28th. Silly me! So today the landmark 100th installment of Haikus Are Stupid: A Most Mind-Numbing Volume of Weird Poetry was posted. This one's a complete lie, though I meant it at the time.

I think I'm going to continue to use this blog for technical updates, progress reports, release announcements, that sort of thing. The new Piece of Mind blog is going to be my soap box. I have a number of things I want to write about there, but just haven't had the time.

I'm behind on adding videos to the official site. I think one episode of White Rock Youth that's up on YouTube.com has yet to be added to my official site. There are also about four episodes that have been filmed and need to be posted. I intend to get way more creative with that series, so stay tuned. They won't all be "issues" promos. I want to do more like the "Mr. and Mrs. Sloth Take the Census" episode. If time and youth schedules permit, I'd like to see those sort of episodes dominate the series. I also have ideas for short films I want to do that stand alone from the White Rock series.

I'm preaching again, this Sunday and next. I think I'll add a "Sermons" section to the site as well, since I may wind up doing this periodically. I'll post the written and audio versions when possible, assuming I make it through. :)

I'm currently working on two short stories in earnest. The first is of course the long awaited "The Trial of Ooga Booga." The second is something that for now I'm referring to as "Scarecrow." It's very, very strange, and I can hardly wait to pot it.

I'm very hyped about writing the next Daniel Mason novel and the next Metrognomes novel. Read Piece of Mind to see where I am right now artistically. I'm in the zone, so to speak. I intend to take a week off for each novel, if possible, and go somewhere. I have a friend with an extra house who has offered to let me use it when I need to. It's haunted of course, but that shouldn't take away from my writing style. After all, I'm haunted too. :)

The future is bright, for myself and my fans, and it's got so much more to offer than those amazing haikus! No, really, read the new blog. I'm coming back. :)

When do you suppose are emoticons going to be made official punctuation marks? Food for thought.

Peace!
