Yesterday, I wrote a new short story from beginning to end, called "The Briar Patch Evangelist, or; The Tale of Beater Rabbit." It's one of the strangest and most transparent things I've written. I love it! It's also the first short story I've finished since 2008. I really feel like I've returned with this tale.

The Metrognomes: 2011 Calendar went on sale yesterday. I have yet to order mine, but hope to get to it today. I'll let you know what I think! From the images I've seen at the store, it looks like the graphics are smaller than I anticipated. Lots of white space. I'll have to see it up close to decide whether or not I think it works. :) Can't wait!
