I worked some more on Chapter 22. Fell right back into a character from the as yet unpublished short story "Worse Than a Gremlin". I finally updated this web log from Sunday to today at a friend's house. My computer hasn't been cooperating, but I've been keeping notes on what I do each day.

I finished chapters 17-19. Molly and I decided not to meet today. One reason being that I'm sick. :( Our next art meeting is scheduled for March 1.

Today I did tedious things like setting up appointments. I got a lot of work done on a non-fiction side-project.

Today I spent the day with my most amusing muse. I am now adequately inspired, and tomorrow I think I'll even write.

I finally finished a very rough version of chapter 13, only to realize that I must go back and break it into three chapters. I think the backstory that I was struggling with should be told by someone else and with more detail. So at this point, my original chapter 12 becomes the new chapter 14, but it will be chapter 16 when I go back and change chapter 13 into chapter 13-15. But I'll think about that when I do draft two. I did some editing on the short story prologue "Worse Than A Gremlin" before printing out a copy for Molly. I tweeked the outline a bit more to add yet another small chapter, because I realized it was necessary to fill in a hole in the plot that I never even saw. finished writing chapter 15 just in time for the meeting with Molly. The meeting went very well. She had so many great illustration ideas. It was truly painful deciding which ones not to include. She signed my copies of the two books she did with Chris Collins for me. :) We agreed to meet every two weeks. She's going to try and have the rough sketch of at least ten illustrations for me. I will try and have at least six new chapters for her. We'll also go over the notes she makes on the two chapters I gave her tonight. All in all, it was a very productive day.
