Several new bits of merchandise went on sale today. The print edition of "The Gift" was at long last published. The dark versions and ringer versions, in a variety of colors, of the "Music of the Metrognomes" and "Dr. Coffee's Pill" T-shirts went on sale as well. I am still trying to find out what the status of Metrognomes is. I will let you know as soon as I know myself.

I officially have no idea what is going on with Metrognomes. Last I heard they were working on the cover copy polish. I'm holding off on some things until I hear from them. I will give you an update as soon as I have one. Yesterday, I finished the rough draft of The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas #11 "Ray's Decision". It's scheduled to be published in June of this year, with #12 to follow in December. I also filled in all the gaps in the outline for #14 & #15. I can hardly wait to write them! Sometimes the story really surprises me with the direction it takes. A lot has come out of the outlining of those two episodes that sheds new light on how things will develop in the future.

The revamp of my official Web site progressed a little bit today, giving the "About the Author" section a new look. Bibliography and picture pages will soon be added, and the other pages that it currently links to will be spiffed up, except of course for this page and the MySpace page, which will stay the same for the time being.

I've been having some computer issues recently, and it's been in the way of my work. As time has permitted, I've been doing research for Metrognomes: Book II, mostly just sifting through the published continuity and putting together a "source book" at this point, but it will extend to library research soon enough. There are certain mythological elements that I want to include, mixed with a bit of history.
As for Book I, all I know is that they are presently working on polishing up the cover copy. I should have more of an update for you around Monday.
