The print edition of The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas #1 Homecoming was published today. In theory, this marks the return of the series. The plan is to reissue the original three episodes as print editions, one each month, and then continue the following month with an all new episode. This month also marks the 5th anniversary of the series, so I guess it's high time I did another episode. I do still have school and a part time job, but I will try very hard to get a new one up each month from this point forward.

Finished "Breath!" I really like it. I'm not sure if anyone will get it, but I'm putting it out there anyway. Val is doing the cover art. If all goes according to plan, the e-book will be published on the Web site on April 4.

Today I worked on "Breath." I have been procrastinating for monhs, and it's set for publication on the Web site in April!

I finished the first installment of "Project P." Yesterday I decided that I would start things in the middle of the story. I'VE LOST MY MIND! Then, I'll backtrack to the way it all began in the second installment, which I actually wrote a while back when I first had the idea. Confused? Well, just wait till you read it. Then you'll REALLY be lost! HA HA HA!!! No one can stop my evil agenda! NO ONE!!!! Kneel before me, simpletons! Do my bidding! You must all prepare cheesecakes for my consumption!

Thanks to the printing success of "Music of the Metrognomes," I jumped back into "Project P" today. Now I know I can do it the way I want to. I know it's rude of me not to tell you anything specific about it, but I have a sound reason. It's an experimental project, and it might not work for me. As in, I might not be happy with it when I really get into it. So, I don't want to get you all revved up about it, then never let it see the light of day. I'm working without an outline. Woo! Crazy! I'm telling this unplanned tale as an ongoing serial novel, like Nightfire. It's set in early nineteenth century Europe. It will only be in print, and it will only be available through my Web site, not through stores. So there you have it...all the things that are "experimental "about "Project P." Well, maybe not ALL the things...but most. I will tell you more when I'm for sure comfortable with the way it's going. For now, it's just "Project P."

FINALLY!!! The print edition of "Music of the Metrognomes" was published today. I went with a different group than the ones who did "The Ghost in the Olive Grove." This way, the paperback can be sold along with the rest of the site's merchandise. The Merchandise page, by the way, paid for itself this month! Woo-hoo! Now I am thinking about "Project P" again. I'm happy so far with the new print edition. I'll have to see it in person before I make my mind up, but what I've seen from cafepress.com so far has been spectacular. It would be nice to eventually have print editions of all my short stories available on the merchandise pages. As for what I've been doing other than seeing to that, I've been working on the outline for "Metrognomes II" almost daily when I've had the time. And I've been doing the school thing too. Making pretty good grades so far. Things are good. Buy a T-shirt! :)

I went and saw Bat Boy: The Musical with my friend Marta and my sister this afternoon at the John Anthony Theatre at Quad C. It was brilliant! Eveyone in or near Dallas should go and see it at once. That's he first play I've seen since this summer. Seems no one ever wants to go. I'm going to try to get some more people to go and see it this week.
I also got another test reader's copy of Metrognomes back. We talked about some of the notes, but I haven't read them over yet. I'm tired, and there's a long day ahead.

I finished going through the pink-inked manuscript and decided I'd found my new editor. I agreed with most of the suggestions, and she was decidedly good at finding typos. I still have three test reader copies out.

Today I surfed my own web site and read over most of my old blog entries, because I am really into myself. I got a copy of the Metrognomes manuscript back from a test reader today and began reading over the comments she'd written in pink ink.

PS---Spell check REALLY wants me to change the title of the book. It has enthusiastically suggested I call it Nitrogenous instead. It would really be hilarious to just say "change it" to every suggestion Spell Check makes and see just how nonsensical the manuscript could get.
