I've been suffering a great deal of frustration as of late. My author photo for the new book jacket has been delayed for several weeks while I waited to heal from a terrible sunburn, for one. For another, the web site is no longer working properly. There was some sort of glitch, and Tripod knocked the site down from having no ads or pop-up and about 100 megabytes to work with, to having ads and pop-ups and about 20 megabytes to work with. The site was already using 71.1 megabytes. So, until the issue is resolved, the site cannot be updated, for fear of losing any random parts of it that total 51.1 megabytes. Also, the domain name "glennsladeclarkjr.com" no longer works. The only way to get to the site is through the old URL of glenn.clark.tripod.com. I may not be able to get the .com back, in fact. Why? Because, as it turns out, there is no one to call about this. Tripod has no phone support. None! All problems have to be reported through their web site, and may or may not be answered within 72 hours. It all depends on whether or not someone has already been helped with the same problem. Today is the last day within that 72 hour time limit, and I do not intend to give them any more time. I have been with Tripod, without a complaint, for at least five years now, but it may be time to move on. I need a company that has people I can talk to when things go horribly wrong with their system. I need to be able to talk to someone about taking my domain name, that I own and paid for, with me when I need to. I am currently in the process of downloading all the files from the site, just in case I need to start over. So, I am looking at doing all the tedious work involved with a new book release while simultaneously relaunching a new web site and building it from scratch. How do you spell STRESS?

The "Breath" mug went on sale today on the site. It's pretty cool. You should buy one. :) Other than that, I've jack to report.
