I'm mainly writing this entry to test out the feed to my new Author Central page at Amazon.com. The page was approved on July 8, and I've been slowly tinkering with it here and there, but, as I've already mentioned, I've been on the road. Today I believe I've figured out how to get my blogs on the Amazon page. It should go up within twenty-four hours if I've done it right. :) Here's the link to my Author Central page for those of you reading from my main page:

It's been a while, I know! And so much has been happening! :D
Here's a quick "business" update. I'll start with April. On the 4th, we added a long-overdue link to the paperback release of "The Dragons of Nod," our "About the Author" page at the official site was cleaned up and the b;log links were reorganized with another long-overdue link to my latest (and presently neglected) blog "Piece of Mind."
On May 16, the remaining ten episodes of White Rock Youth were announced for release between June 13 and August 15. Since then, not one has been posted, due to a sudden and dramatic change in my schedule at Annual Conference. I found myself committed to an entire month of solid church work, which was a good thing, because it meant I got to go to Camp Bridgeport and Youth 2011 in Indiana with my youth group, when I thought I wasn't going to be able to. As a result, we are still working on correcting the release schedule.
On June 3, we announced that The Legends of Nod #1 "The Dragons of Nod" was coming to the Kindle e-book reader on June 4 (which was an approximation). It actually came out on the 5th, while I was at Annual Conference with the North Texas Conference Council on Youth Ministries in Plano. We updated the "Dragons of Nod" page on the 9th to reflect the Kindle release and we added a "Special Features" page. The new edition was released as a Smashwords edition in every major e-book format on June 30 and was approved for Smashwords' premium distribution through major e-book retailers on July 14. It's been a ride!
The re-release of The Legends of Nod #1 has been a great and very successful experiment, both artistically and financially, and has opened the doors for our plans to re-release everything in the current e-reader formats. My publishing company, Clark Ink, LLC, now has the rights to republish all of my previous work. The plan is to stagger the releases, which will include all short fiction e-books, The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas, hardback second editions of Cry, Wolf, The Great Debate, and Metrognomes: The Shaman's Apprentice, and a number of new releases as well.
The re-release of The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas should begin next month and lead in to the publication of all new chapters of the series. My next new short story, "Night Light II: The Trial of Ooga Booga" is currently slotted for publication in October, following a September re-release of the original. The new book for 2011 is scheduled for the fall, and it will be a collection of my haiku, including some new ones and illustrations, entitled Haikus Are Stupid: A Most Mind-Numbing Volume of Weird Poetry. This book will test the waters for future hardback releases through the printers and distribution channels we have lined up. Yes, I am still working on Metrognomes: Aradia's Wand and the second novel in the series that began with Cry, Wolf, with a plan to release both books in 2012.
So, while I've been silent, I have also been very busy! Thanks for your patience! Keep your eyes on the "Release Schedule" at GlennSladeClarkJr.com. Lots of exciting things are in the works! :D
