I wanted to take a moment to warn you about an alarming discovery I just made. I have noticed that there are some people selling Metrognomes for over $20 on the Internet. Do not buy it from these people! All of my books are in print and anyone selling them to you used for more than you would pay to buy them new is ripping you off. Here are the list prices for all three of my books: Metrognomes: The Shaman's Apprentice $17.95 (trade paperback) $6.00 (ebook), The Great Debate $21.95 (hardback) $11.95 (trade paperback), Cry, Wolf $31.99 (hardback) $21.99 (trade paperback). If you can find them cheaper than that, then please take full advantage. Just don't let anyone sell them to you for a penny more (aside from tax). Happy shopping!

Haiku #65 went up on Monday. The Release Schedule has also been updated, with The Penny Dreadful #1 and The Vampire Murders: From the Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas being moved up and The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas #12 and "The Dragons of Nod" being added to the lineup.
I am still waiting on the cover art for Nightfire #11. I will bend over backwards to get it up this month if I get the art in time. As for #12, the only forseeable delay would be still not having #11 published within the next couple of weeks. Look on the bright side, though. At least this way, instead of the six month wait we had promised you between #11 and #12, you'll only have to wait a couple of weeks tops.

New haiku today! It's the one about y'all. The Erasure haiku went up last Monday.
Metrognomes: The Shaman's Apprentice. is now available through regular old book stores! Just walk in, look for it, find it, buy it, and lose yourself in a really fun story; or, if they don't have it on the shelf when you walk in and look for it, then ask for it, order it, come in a few days later to pick it up, THEN lose yourself in a really fun story! Either way, you can get the book anywhere now. This means we'll be gearing up for a signing tour as well. Keep checking the appearances section of the About the Author page over at glennsladeclarkjr.com.
The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas #11 "Ray's Decision" has been delayed yet again by some unfortunate insanity. Basically, we are STILL waiting on the cover art. I am very, very, VERY hopeful that it will at long last be posted this coming Monday. It's a short one. Then #12 should come in right on time on December 10.

I've been doing a lot. This whole "embracing my A.D.D." writing schedule is working wonderfully. I've done a great deal of research for The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas and The Penny Dreadful, and I've written a lot more of "The Dragons of Nod." I should be spending some time today with the short story as well. "The Dragons of Nod" challenge has been to write without an outline, because the story was so well-developed in my mind that I didn't feel I needed one. Well, then we get to the place in the story where the heroes are put into seemingly hopeless situation and have to find a way out...and I'm like, "I hope you guys know how to get yourselves out of this, 'cause I'm fresh out of ideas." Up to now, everything has gone as planned or better. I know exactly what happens after they get out. I just don't know how they actually overcome the present obstacle, so that we can get on with the story. It's kind of funny, really. I'm sure something will happen. Otherwise, at least one character has to die horribly and the story goes in a direction I don't intend for it to go. These things happen. There, now when you read it, you'll be in as much suspense as to their fates as I am. Either way, it's a really fun story, and I'm enjoying myself.
Haiku #62, the gay rights haiku, went up today. Hope you enjoy it.
