I did get an e-mail about doing an e-book version of The Great Debate and, incidentally, a hardback printing of Metrognomes: The Shaman's Apprentice. Both are possibilities that will be looked into over the next several months. Nothing official to announce yet, but I'd say chances are pretty good we'll be doing this.
Also, the link to my fanboy-tastic Admiral Ackbar rant has been repaired. Check out the MySpace blog. (The link doesn't actually take you directly to the blog, just to the MySpace page.)
From the Author's Desk
A blow-by-blow log of my more or less daily work as an author

Hey! That last entry was my 300th "From the Author's Desk" post. Yay for those who are actually counting. :)
I have not heard back about the e-book/Kindle editions of The Great Debate. I was to have heard something from the potential designers/distributors no later than this morning. Looks like it will be a little while longer before I can say whether or not these editions are happening anytime soon. I'll let you know when they let me know.

I'm looking into an e-book/Kindle release of The Great Debate. I'll let you know what I hear back. Should have some idea by Friday.

I'm back! Everything worked itself out, while I was backing up all of the Web site's files just in case we were facing the worst. I've got the links updated to the blog. I've got a new laptop. Expect to see more of me from this point forward. I'm going to rebuild my Web presence and get you some amazing new reading material. Well, maybe not amazing. Fun anyway. :) Though I'll be hard-pressed to get the second "Night Light" story posted by August, it can be done.
This just in: the URL now goes to a 503 error page that informs me that the domain is in the process of being moved and that I should try again later. That's a good sign o that end. I hope it has something to do with the graohics issue. I do.
Hello again. I have recently been trying to correct the problems of my main Web site. If you are reading this, then you are a loyal fan for finding me here. I haven't been able to post links to this or the previous blog entry, and now that I can, I'm afraid to. For some reason, glennsladeclarkjr.com went "inactive," and I have just finished going through the tedious process of re-activating it, only to find that in the editing "room" none of the site's graphics or files are showing up They are all marked with place-holders with little red Xs. I have a terrible fear that I may have to scrap the whole thing and start over from scratch, which would be typical of my life in recent months, but, to quote my beloved Michael Ende, "that's another story and shall be told another time." Meanwhile, the files all still exist in the Tripod archives, and I suppose I'll give this problem 24-hours to correct itself, then I must start saving files for the inevitable total reconstruction, if nothing changes. I am hoping that there is just a glitch while the site is figuring out that it's been re-activated. Here's to my triumphant return to the 'Net! Let's keep our fingers crossed.
