Okay, Sunday I finished work on the 4th electronic edition of "Aries' Cage" and the 2nd electronic edition of "Music of the Metrognomes" both due out in February. I also added my late uncle Dick fagan to the list of other writers in my family on the FAQ page. Yet another songwriter. Monday, I wrote "Haiku #25" and relaunched the navigation bar at the top of the Web site, including the new Release Schedule page, which is where, when a project is completely finished, artwork and all, the publication date will be posted. So there are things that are coiming out between now and February that aren't on there yet, because they aren't completely ready as of yet. I also posted "Haiku #14." The haikus are gonna be weekly for a while. I finished the day working on The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas #4. I wrote several scenes. Today, I doubt I'll do anything. I have my day job, then, if I survive, I'm going to an Erasure concert! Yahoo! I love Erasure. A lot!

I finished my work for the print edition of The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas #3 Vctory of the Vampire, as well as work on the 4th electronic edition, which is due on the site in February 2006. The 2006 e-book re-issues are designed to match the print editions in page-count and layout. I had the art meeting with Molly and Jay. Molly's done a brilliant job! The last illustration actually got me all choked up, because I just realized, "This book is really going to work." We meet again on June 25th. In the meantime, I'll be working on the final draft and going over continuity stuff with Jay. After the meeting, I finished work on June's print edition of "Night Light" and the 4th electronic edition for 2006. It's easier to do them at the same time, since they're so nearly identical. There are only a few subtle changes to make for the e-book.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I als had some pages updated on the Web site. I changed some answers on the FAQ: "Are there any other writers in your family?" I just had a sudden realization that songwriting counts in my mind, so I added some names. And NO, mom! Your little Sunday school skits still don't count! I also changed the answer to the Nightfire question to "June or bust!" The link to Chris Collins' site, where you could see more of Molly Brimer's work, was taken down, because the site seems to have vanished. A link to TKO-Radio was added, where you can hear Ryan Fagan's music. As for today, I added another haiku, I did some prep work for tomorrows meeting, mainly settling scheduling questions, and I continued work on the reformat of Nightfire #3, which I am taking a break from to write this entry. So there ya go.

Haven't done much. My cousin Ryan is in town with his girlfriend, and they're staying with me...so all you get is another haiku. Ha ha ha!!!!

I added yet anothr haiku...so that you can't say I'm not doing anything. Actually, I am. I am working very hard on other projects. This week should see the publication of the print edition of The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas #3, as I'm working on the new episodes, and I've got a Metrognomes meeting with Molly Brimer on Saturday too. Haikus are just my way of saying, "I'm still here!" Plus...they make me laugh...way more than they should. The doctors just can't find a drug that works.

Posted haiku #9. It's one of my favorites. Don't worry, kids, I'll have something for you next month that you've all been begging for...and it's not a haiku...though that would be funny.

I added haiku #8 today. "Now I am complete." Not really, but I did see Revenge of the Sith last night. Whoa! It rocked. I had to see it again just to be sure and, yeah, it did. Um...haiku #8 is about my butt.

As promised, I've done nothing but post a haiku today. It's on elephants. I call it #6, but it's actually the 7th that I wrote, because I used the real 6th one as the title of the page. There's some mundane literary trivia for you to wow the drunks with at your next cocktail party.

I posted another haiku...my Star Wars haiku! The print edition of "Aries' Cage" was also published today. As far as work goes, I did some work on another short story. That's about it. I plan to spend the rest of my evening watching Star Wars Episodes I & II, because tomorrow I'm going to a Rasputina concert that I can't afford, and then Thursday is The Big Day. After Thursday, I will be watching Star Wars Episodes IV, V, & VI. So don't expect more than a few haikus out of me in the next several days. I have an addiction, and I mean to feed it.

Yesterday I added a page to my web site for haikus. Why? Because I felt like it, I suppose. That's a better answer than, "Because I haven't written anything else of substance lately, and I was hoping to pull one over on the public by posting little, silly poems on my site and saying, 'Behold my undeniable productivity!'" Actually, I haven't written these lately either, they were written many months back, when I was reminded of haikus one day, tried to write one, then couldn't stop myself. It's an addictive thing, really, once you get going. Haikus: the poetry that wrecks families. ENTER SOBBING SINGLE MOTHER: My husband (sob) just couldn't stop writing haikus. He neglected the children, was out to all hours, said he was 'working late,' but I soon learned what that meant. It's not as if I wasn't on his forwarding list when he e-mailed those sinister verses to everyone we know. I couldn't face my friends, my family turned their backs on us...and now I live in a shelter with little Timmy and baby Jezebel...all because of his haiku problem! And has anything changed? No! He still writes them. (such sobbing, the likes of which you've never seen!) And he doesn't even acknowledge it's a problem! Says our marriage ended because I was...frigid! What a dirty bastard! He can take his haikus and they can be flambed in Hell with him forever! VOICEOVER, AS SOBBING SINGLE MOTHER IS CARTED AWAY BY FILTHY GARBAGE MUNCHKINS: If you or someone you know has a haiku problem, it's not too late. Please, get help. CLOSE UP ON BADLY DRESSED CHILDREN WITH ATROCIOUS HAIR DOS: Before it's too late. Think of the people who love you. END PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT. Yeah, so I posted two yesterday, and I posted another on today. Yee-haw! The madness continues!

I still haven't written anything for you! I've been busy. I've had a lot of school reading to do in my Major World Religions class, I've been working a lot of hours at my day job, which is exhausting, and, of course, I've been trying to get up to speed on the Clone Wars before the Big Day. lol. So far I'm two years into the story. Yes, I'm a Star Wars fan...but, really, who isn't? I promise I will have some new stuff on the site though before the month is out. The print editions of both "Aries' Cage" and The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas #3 are scheduled for publication this month. Should be available pretty soon. I think I need to get moving on Nightfire #4 too, since that's supposed to be posted next month. Don't worry. I'll have it done. The question is...will there be cover art? Actually, I am always in the market for new artists, since the brilliant few I use are often tied up (Literally? I'm not telling!). Anyone interested in doing art for the site, send me a note through the form on the About the Author page. If you have work on the Web, send me a URL. I pay (honestly) JACK!!! So it's mostly all for fun, but you do get exposure. :) Now, as long as I am sharing my wish list, I am also in the market for someone willing to help me conquer Mars. We will need a space craft, several billion dollars, a kite, two sheep, and extraordinary psychic powers. Please respond soon, as I'd like to have the planet secured by next Ground Hog Day. I met this girl, and she looked exactly like Ben Franklin in a dress. Catch my shadow!
